They just can't stop themselves. Oct 7, 2019 | Rating: C+ | Full Review… Ed Bark Uncle Barky Top Critic The best part of the new series is that unfussy, effortless way of getting Kate's sexual orientation out of the way, and also Kate herself. Oct 4, 2019 | Rating: 2.5/4 | Full Review… Verne Gay Newsday Top Critic Batwoman still delivered a strong fourth episode - one that left room for plenty of great one liners, which are quickly becoming part of this show's branding. Oct 30, 2019 | Full Review… Amanda Mullen Culturess Batwoman is really taking its time exploring all the little hiccups that Kate (and Luke) experiences as she takes on the role as Batwoman. Oct 7, 2019 | Rating: 3.4/5 | Full Review… Allison Nichols Tell-Tale TV Ruby Rose, the centre of so much controversy when she was cast to play Batwoman/Kate Kane, is more than up to the job, exuding a fragile confidence that befits the dual role. Oct 29, 2019 | Rating: 8/10 | Full Review… Alan Boon Starburst Fun series delivers precise superhero punch, some violence. Oct 22, 2019 | Rating: 4/5 | Full Review… Marty Brown Common Sense Media This premiere ticks all the boxes of a good intro episode with clear "Who"s, "What"s, and "Why"s laid out for even the most casual viewer while setting up some good long-arc momentum. Oct 7, 2019 | Rating: 4.0/5.0 | Full Review… Diana Keng TV Fanatic The CW Arrowverse show twists the classic superhero tropes to make for a deliciously promising tale of a young woman struggling to find her path. It's relatable until she just ultimately chooses vigilantism instead of community college. Oct 8, 2019 | Full Review… Rihaana Stark Geeks of Color The show still has much to prove, and could get much better or worse from here, but as far as pilots go, this is a decent beginning. Oct 8, 2019 | Full Review… Linda Maleh Forbes With Arrow fast approaching its end, Batwoman can easily pick up its grimdark mantle within the Arrowverse and run with it. Oct 8, 2019 | Full Review… Tori Preston Pajiba Batwoman is ultimately painful to watch and a struggle to get through, lacking finesse, emotional depth, and a sense of direction. Joel A 2h ago I'm quite surprised at the bad reviews, then saw they we ALL written by men. As a woman, and gay woman, I love how the show its wriiten, it resonates with me. I love the choice of cast, all strong female main rolls <-EPIC. More comments from the ladies? Would love to hear your thoughts. Lizz W 2h ago This show is bad, and the people who created it should feel bad. Josh A 14h ago 4 episodes in and this is the worst CW hero show...ever. End it now and use BW as a supporting member in other CW DC shows. I like Luke and the step sister. The rest of the cast and writers need to go. Who in their right mind green lit this mess? Idea, go watch Gotham if you insist on keeping this on air. Rob T 15h ago I mean come on did you even hear what they are saying.... "Batsuit is perfect" Ruby- "it will be when it fits a woman" OMG CORNEY AS HELL. I love Ruby orange is the new black is amazing but this is a pile of trash. It's like Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote the dialogue but he doesn't realize this kind of corny one-liners only work because he can bench press a truck. Otto W 16h ago It's very cliche and lacks humour and substance Craig P 18h ago Such a great character to waste. Brian S 18h ago Very very bad not watching anymore episodes. Acting writing and editing are all painful with terrible music over nonsense action scenes or cringeworthy dialogue Patrick C 19h ago I was really hoping to get a great Gotham story, but apparently we are more worried about a narrative than a great story. Hopefully it gets better but I doubt it. Jacobe H 19h ago It really has potential, especially after the last episode!
